jQuery(function($) { var $body = $('body#phpbb'); var $win = $(window); $win.on("scroll", function () { if ($(this).scrollTop() > 600 ) { $body.addClass("doch"); } else { $body.removeClass("doch"); } }); });
nav { width:100%; background:white; } .doch nav { position:fixed;top:0;left:0;background:black; }

<div class="posts"> <div class="post">...</div> <div class="post">...</div> <div class="post">...</div> </div> <a href="#" class="showMore">Показать ещё</a> <div class="pagination"> <a href="/page1" class="nextPage">Предыдущая страница</a> <span class="currentPage">2</span> <a href="/page3" class="nextPage">Следующая страница</a> </div>
//если нету ссылки на следующую страницу - прячем кнопку if ($(".nextPage").length == 0) { $(".showMore").hide(); } //и обработчик клика $(".showMore").on("click", function(e) { e.preventDefault(); //получаем url следующей страницы let nextPage = $("a.nextPage").attr("href"); //создаем виртуальный div, грузим в него контент страницы $("<div>").load(nextPage, function() { //тепер в this наш div, а в нем контент, так что можно по нему искать //находим посты let newPosts = $(this).find(".post"); //находим блок пагинации следующей страницы let pagination = $(this).find(".pagination"); //если там нету ссылки дальше, т.е. следующая страница последняя //прячем кнопку if (pagination.find(".nextPage").length == 0) { $(".showMore").hide(); } //запоминаем текущее положение скрола let scrollPos = document.documentElement.scrollTop; //докидываем новые посты* $(".posts").append(newPosts); //возвращаем положение скрола, иначе фокус останется на кнопке //и юзер ничего не поймет document.documentElement.scrollTop = scrollPos; //заменяем блок пагинации на новый $(".pagination").html(pagination); }); });
//вешаем обработчик на прокрутку $(window).scroll(function() { //расстояние от верха страницы до нижнего края экрана let scroll = $(window).scrollTop() + $(window).height(); //низ блока постов let postsBottom = $(".posts").offset().top + $(".posts").height(); //если докрутили до низа if (scroll > postsBottom && $(".nextPage").length > 0) { //далее всё то же самое, что в примере выше } });

Note
hi! I'm using your cherry blossom theme and it has no back to top feature and I really wanna add it to the theme, I tried copying the back to top code from your lilac theme but it just didn't work. would you please release the code for it? thank you so much, darling, have a good day! x
for starters, i made it following paul lund’s tutorial and script and with a chevron icon from feather icons, so you need to install feather icons first (and i recommend reading through the tutorial as well).
in the HTML above </body>, add this:
<div id="btop">    <a href="#top" title="back to top" target="_self"><i data-feather="chevron-up"></i></a> </div>
then, in the CSS above </style>, add:
#btop {    position: fixed;    right: 18px;    bottom: 40px; }
#btop a svg {    width: 30px;    height: 30px;    color: {color:link}; }
finally, in the jquery between <script></script>, you need to add:
$(document).ready(function(){    $('#btop').click(function(){        $('html, body').animate({scrollTop : 0},800);        return false;    }); });
this should work for pretty much any of my themes, but you might have to play with the values of right:; and bottom:; in #btop to get it to fit in properly so it won’t overlap my credit.

Types of Asphalt
The Types of Asphalt
There are different types of asphalt to meet the various needs of what it is going to be used for.  Our goal is to give you the very best grand rapids road repair options.
We all see our paved roads and highways daily, but have you ever wondered what makes those up?  Let’s take a look at the different types of asphalt and what they are.  Of course, there are endless sub-categories of these and not all categories might be represented.
Cold Mix Asphalt
Cold mix asphalt remains pliable even in colder temperatures.  We often see this used for pothole repairs as it is very flexible and pliable.  The mixture is pretty easy, which means that it can be manufactured just about anywhere.  It is good for repelling water and keeping the pothole from getting bigger.
Porous Asphalt
Porous asphalt actually comes with some tax benefits as they would prefer people to use this material.  It allows the water to go through and drain as it would naturally into the ground. This means that the rainwater is purified as it would be if it were in a field or other basic ground.  This is a wonderful way to deal with stormwater and it is more environmentally friendly than some of the other options.

Warm Mix Asphalt
This is asphalt that is made with asphalt binding materials at approx 200-250°F.  It uses fewer fossil fuels than some of the other asphalt options.  And, it will need more binding agents.
Hot Mix Asphalt
Hot mix asphalt (HMA) is the most commonly used asphalt for building our roads and infrastructure. There are 3 categories of the HMA which are:
Open Graded Mixes
Dense Graded Mixes
Stone Matrix
The dense grade comes in fine and course as well.  This means that the fine grade will have more small stones and sand in it.  While the course grade is more course. This is the type of mix that is used to pave our roads and highways.
 Stone Matrix Asphalt
Stone matrix asphalt (SMA) carries another name which is stone mastic asphalt and is used in surfaces that there is high traffic volume.  It has been around since 1990, so it is one of the newer versions but is rut resistant and has higher durability.
We hope that you find the various mixtures interesting.  We are here for your Holland Road repair or Parking lot repair needs.

Tumblr media
So @vintagelovedesigns asked for a tutorial on how to make a full screen header with a scroll down button, so here you go ^^
The result will give you the bare bones for something like this:
Tumblr media
(Graphic made by the lovely @saturnthms !)
The Meta Tags
The only thing you need to add in the meta tags is this line:
<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1">
This tells you the size of the browser window when a user first accesses it, and it is necessary to make the header stretch all the way across the screen. It should be put in between <head> and <style>, just like all the other meta tags.
The HTML
Now I know I’m doing this a bit out of order, but you need to define your header element first before you can add any CSS to it.
You should put your header element right after your <body> tag, so it’ll physically be on the top of the screen. As for the header element itself, I usually use the <header> tag itself, like so:
<body> <header> <!-- in here is where your header content will be --> </header> </body>
Now, all that needs to be added is the HTML for the ‘scroll down’ button, which should be inside the header.
<header> <!-- in here is where your header content will be --> <a href="#" class="down"> <!-- your scroll down button --> <!-- whatever you want your scroll down button to say --> </a> </header>
The CSS
Now that you’ve defined your header element - whether with the <header> tag or something else - it’s time to add some CSS to it. This will determine what the header will actually look like. I’m just going to tell you the basics for the CSS, and you’ll have to figure out what style you want for the rest. You should put this between <style> and </style>
So to your header element, you should add this (I’m using header as an example, because that’s what my header element is):
<style type="text/css"> header {  width:100%; /* makes sure it stretches across the screen horizontally */  height:100vh; /* makes sure it stretches across the screen vertically */  margin:0; /* just to make sure you don't have any extra borders */  overflow:hidden; /* in case your header overflows, this will hide that */ } </style>
You can style the ‘scroll down’ button by putting something inside the designated element, and adding CSS to .down { }, same as you did for the header.
The JQuery
All that’s left now is the script that actually makes the clicking the button scroll the screen down. For this to work, you must have a JQuery library in your code, so be sure to have that first. The one I use is:
<script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.7.1/jquery.min.js"></script>
It’s best if you add that between <head> and <style>, if you don’t already have that. After you’ve added a JQuery library in your code, paste this between </body> and </html>
</body> <script type='text/javascript'> $(document).ready(function(){    var height = $(window).height(); // defines the height you want to scroll, in this case the height of the window    $('.down').click(function(){ // the selector + what happens if you click on it        $('html, body').animate({scrollTop: height }, 1100); //scroll for the predetermined amount        return false; // negates the href="#" of the link    }); }); </script> </html>
The $(’.down’) should match the class you gave your ‘scroll down’ button!
The End
And that’s it! That’s the bare bones for the effect I showed at the beginning. Your code should look a little something like this:
Tumblr media
You can see the same effect in my theme Winter, Summer Night Horizon, and my blog theme (if you press the “enter” button it’ll scroll down). Now if you want a tutorial on how to only have it show up on the first page, @roxiestheme made a tutorial on that here.
If you use this tutorial I would like a little credit somewhere on your theme, not gonna lie. But only an in code mention would be fine, nothing big ^^

How do you make a stuck sidebar? Which tutorial you use? I don't know if I'm dumb or what, But I seem to never got to understand those github codes at all. Can you link me to a tutorial? pls
I feel you. Sometimes github codes are a puzzle.
That sidebar thing I just use the add and remove class basic jquery code.
First you set up your sidebar like this:
.sidebar{width:200px;float:left; /* or right */}
Add the jquery to your page, if you don’t have yet. This is the one I use.
before
paste:
$(document).scroll(function() {  var y = $(this).scrollTop();  if (y > <b>200) {    $('<b>.sidebar').addClass('sticky');  } else {    $('<b>.sidebar').removeClass('sticky');  }});
200 is how much the screen will scroll that you want to make the sticky work.
now, to make the sidebar stuck at the top (or bottom) of your screen, in your css add:
.sticky{position:fixed;top:10px; /* change this */}
You can also, apply effects when it fixes, addying in the initial div code a transition:
transition: all ease-in-out .3s;
If you want, like me, wants to apply effects or styles for the boxes, menu, links.. everything inside the sidebar, after it fixes just do like this:
.sticky .anotherdiv{margin-bottom:20px; /* to separate boxes, for example, you can change this to make a nice transition */background:pink; /* to change background for example*/width:300px; /* to change its widht, for example*/}
while you are using .sticky div, you can make everything change after the sidebar fixes. Just play with it.
Tumblr media
Let me know if everything didn’t work for you. We’ll figured out together.
